Remove URL Referrer Service

When a user clicks the link of another site an administrator will be able to see in Analytics statistics the source of the user’s click or domain/referrer. Sometimes, you may not wish for the other site to know where your traffic is coming.

Why do we hide websites that refer to us?

We will not go into detail about the reason we choose to hide the referrer site. We designed this service to safeguard our affiliate generating pages from competition and our partners. Finding niches which can produce leads through affiliate marketing can take time. Hence, such information must be protected to prevent others copying it and competing with your site. Therefore, removing the website that refers to you was one of the methods used.

The below service is quick and easy to utilize!

How to Use

The following steps will help you to use the hide referrer program.

  1. copy the following link: “http://iwebz365.co.za/hide/?http://www.mywebsite.com
  2. edit the “http://www.mywebsite.com” part with the link towards the website you are linking to and you do not want to be shown as referrer (it can be either a domain home page or a deep link / affiliate link; make sure to include the http or https as well)
  3. Incorporate the link into your blog or other websites. When someone clicks on the link, they will be redirected directly to the intended link without needing to transfer the site’s information.
